Good morning Area 7,
After sending out last week’s WACA update, I wanted to reach out again and talk a bit about what the WACA conference does for me each year. For me, the WACA conference is a great place to network with other advisers and learn from some amazing educators and speakers who are at the forefront of SEL, Culture Building, Project Management, and Professional Growth. We all need new ideas and inspiration to re-energize us from time to time. This is true for Administrators, ASB Bookkeepers, Athletic Directors, Activity Coordinators, ASB Advisors, and Leadership teachers. I am inspired each year by the amazing things that educators from all over the state are doing in their buildings and communities.
Area 7 is made up of Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Lincoln and Spokane counties. There has been a history of low attendance from our area and I would love to see that change. I know for a fact that there are amazing things happening in Area 7. Wouldn’t it be great to join the rest of the state and share what we are doing in our buildings and communities, as well as get out there are see what others are doing. My building is feeling the budget cuts, but we are still keeping SEL and School Culture a priority. The WACA conference provides professional growth and networking opportunities for both. WACA also has opportunities to present in a Meet the Pros format or a 50 minutes session to share the amazing things you do with others in our state.
I encourage you to talk to whoever you need to and make the arrangements to come join us in March for a great time connecting and learning. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or you are interested in presenting.
Thank you for your time.
Bryan
