Hi Area 2!
Thank you to those of you who attended and made WACA 2016: Every day is Game Day such an incredible conference. We are lucky to have such experience and expertise in this state to be able to offer one another.
Here are some of the highlights we heard in the last Area meeting:
· Anthony Robles and Stu Cabe were incredible speakers! Great messages
· Session options were varied with tons of good options
· Lots of good options for partners at the high school level
· Great bookkeepers/secretaries session
· Meet the Pros had great variety
If you have not had an opportunity to provide the board feedback on the conference, please take the time to do so: Click here for survey, as a reminder, the feedback from all of the delegation is brought to the board meetings for discussion on how to make the next WACA even better. Your feedback and opinion is important! All of the constructive feedback from the last Area meeting was also sent to the board for consideration from me (fyi).
I have thoroughly enjoyed serving as your Area 2 rep and want to thank you for the opportunity you gave me. I look forward to seeing you all at conferences and interhighs in the coming months. Even though I am not continuing as your Area rep, please let me know if there is anything I can ever help you with.
Congratulations to Michelle Munson, Activity Coordinator at Liberty High School for being elected as the new Area 2 rep! I am cc’ing Michelle to this email to provide you all with her contact information for future reference. You are in good hands with Michelle!
The WACA 2017: Gone Fishin’ countdown is on. Mark your calendars for March 15, 16 and 17 now J
Last but not least, don’t forget about our incredible WACA website. There are great resources available as well as our runningArea 2 blog (all of the emails sent by the rep) for your reference.
I hope you all have had a great week back from WACA,
Take Care,
Kia
