Hello WACA Area 6!
It was great to meet some new advisors at the middle level regional leadership conference last week. I’ve added you to my mailing list for WACA. As always, feel free to let me know if you would like to be deleted from my list if you are getting too many emails.
I just wanted to provide some specific details to those attending (or still thinking of attending) the WACA conference.
First, if you're willing to present, even a little, let me know. We would love to have Area 6 make a strong showing this year with presenters and some of you have NEVER presented after years of attending. WE WANT YOU! Presentations are the short (10 min) Meet the Pros session or a longer breakout session (50 minutes). If you are interested, please "apply"--but really this is more of a registration form: http://www.wacaonline.org/presenters.html
Since we have a "hero" theme this year, we would like to invite you all to wear your Superhero Swag on Thursday, March 12th. As always, this is optional, but you will see others in capes and other superhero-y paraphernalia.
Plan on wearing your school spirit gear on Friday.
In our area meetings, we will do a chocolate basket and coffee basket. To participate, bring chocolate for the chocolate basket, and/or a favorite coffee item (mug, coffee card, coffee, etc.)! We'll have a number of drawings during our area meeting time. :-)
So excited to see you next month!

P.S. It is not too late to register for WACA. Join us for this great conference right in our own backyard. Register at http://www.wacaonline.org
